Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies Shahinlabs uses, why we use them, and how you can change your choice at any time.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits, such as keeping you signed in or remembering your language.

We also use your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way. In this policy, "cookies" covers both.

2. The cookies we use

We use three kinds of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data.

Strictly necessary Keep the site secure and working. Always on.
Preferences Remember choices you make, like language and theme.
Analytics Help us understand how the site is used. Only with your consent.

3. Strictly necessary Always on

These cookies are needed for the site to work, so they cannot be switched off. They do not track you.

NamePurposeExpires
*-session Keeps your visit working from page to page, for example when you send the contact form. 2 hours
XSRF-TOKEN Security. Protects forms from being sent by other websites on your behalf. 2 hours
remember_web_* Keeps you signed in, only if you sign in and tick "Remember me". Up to 400 days
cookie-consent Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we don't ask on every page. Saved in local storage. 180 days

4. Preferences Always on

These cookies are only set when you choose a setting yourself, and only to remember that choice.

NamePurposeExpires
app_locale Remembers the language you picked. 1 year
appearance Remembers light or dark mode. 1 year

5. Analytics Only if you accept

We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, such as which pages are opened most and which countries visitors come from. This helps us improve the site.

The Google Analytics script is not loaded at all until you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you reject, no analytics cookies are set.

NameProviderPurposeExpires
_ga Google Tells visits apart with a random ID, so visitors can be counted. 2 years
_ga_* Google Keeps track of the current visit (session). 2 years
_gid Google Tells visits apart within one day. 24 hours
_gat Google Limits how often data is sent to Google. 1 minute

Advertising features are switched off. Google is told that ad storage, ad personalisation and ad user data are denied. See how Google uses this data: Google's privacy information.

6. Your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Accept and Reject are equally easy, and the site works the same either way.

Changing your mind

Click Cookie Settings at the bottom of any page on our website to open the banner again and pick a different answer. If you reject after accepting, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

We ask you again after 180 days, or sooner if this policy changes in a way that matters.

7. Browser settings

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site (like forms) may stop working.

To stop Google Analytics on every website, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we change the cookies we use. The date at the top shows the last update. For how we handle personal data in general, read our Privacy Policy.
